Annie Culbertson joined Lambda Delta Phi in the fall of 2013 when she was a freshman at the University of Minnesota. Annie quickly became an integral member of the chapter. Every member knew her for her sass and her smile. Annie served as the 2nd Vice President where she was in charge of recruiting the newest members of LDPhi.
Annie says her favorite memories of being an active member come from being able to live with her best friends throughout her time in college. She especially enjoyed hanging out in the TV room, watching Law & Order SVU, and eating snacks.
After her graduation with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Marketing from the University of Minnesota in 2017, Annie works for DeLaval. She is the Milk Quality Animal Health Marketing Trainee. Annie lives in Sturtevant, WI with my fiancée, Ryan Lauber. They are getting married in Minnesota on New Year’s Eve.
Our alumni continue to be a part of the sisterhood. We are so blessed to have amazing alumni, like Annie. We wish her continued success and happiness with her life.
As the semester is coming to a close and the rest of the school year is underway, we will be saying goodbye to some of our oldest members. We have enjoyed their sisterhood and friendship over the years.
Brenna Werner, from Caledonia, MN, joined Lambda Delta Phi as part of the Fall 2015 class during her freshman year. She quickly became involved in the chapter and served as our 2017 president. She has also acted as the house manager and the new member educator. Brenna has deeply enjoyed her time as an active member, but her favorite memories were spending time with her new member class and participating in MN Royal every year with her best friends. In addition to her time with LDPhi, Brenna has been an active member of the Gopher Dairy Club. She will be graduating with a degree in Animal Science.
Julia Nunes, from Chippewa Falls, WI, joined Lambda Delta Phi during her freshman year as a new member in the fall of 2015. She is double majoring in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications and Marketing, with minors in Horticulture and Ag Food Business Management. Julia served as the Representative at Large during the year of 2017. She has also served the chapter as the Social Chair, Events Chair and has been on the coffee hour committee. Her favorite memory during her time in the chapter are the many formal and date nights. She always enjoyed playing in the Pot of Gold Softball game against Clovia every spring. Julia will never forget the memories and friends made during her time living in the house and as an active member. In addition to LDPhi, Julia is also an active member of the Gopher Dairy Club. She is currently job hunting and hopes to stay involved in the agriculture or food industry after graduation.
We have all enjoyed both of their friendship and leadership. We cannot wait to see what Brenna and Julia do in the future.
Major: Animal Science and Agricultural Communications and Marketing.
Taylor joined LDP because she wanted an opportunity to make friends with similar interests as her. She is currently serving LDPhi as our social service co-chair. Taylor plans volunteering opportunities, such as making cards for service members and caroling with other St. Paul chapters.
