Major: Neuroscience, with a minor in public health.

Laney joined Lambda Delta Phi because she was a dancer for 16 years, thus she wanted to find a place on campus where she could form the same strong bonds and friendships that dance gave her. In addition to LDPhi, Laney is involved in USIG (undergraduate surgery interest group) and CHAARG, a female fitness group on campus.

Emily joined LDP to expand her social network, get out of her comfort zone, and become a part of the kind, sincere, and supportive sisterhood she loves. You can find Emily working at the Bell Museum of Natural History. She loves her job because she gets the incredible opportunity to have meaningful conversations with all kinds of visitors about sustainability, environmental awareness, and anything herpetology!

Hailey joined Lambda Delta Phi because she loved the girls in it. She says it’s nice to have a community around you to support you and be like a second home. On campus Hailey works on dairy research with a professor and volunteers at the Veterinary Medical Center.

Major: Environmental Science, Policy, and Management

In LDPhi Jacqueline has been working on sustainability. On campus she is involved in the Mentor Program, Policy Engagement Program, has been working as a research assistant in a lab, and has been interning for Senator John Marty.

Major: Biology

Abby joined LDPhi because she saw this as her chance to experience sisterhood. Her sisters are very proud to support her as she serves in the National Guard. In May 2019, Abby will be studying abroad in Norway.

Vanessa Robert

 Scholastics Vanessa Roberts

Hometown: Whitelaw, WI

Year: Junior

Major: Animal Science

Vanessa joined LDPhi because she wanted to get involved on campus and she related to many of the girls in the house. LDP came highly recommended by her sister, Brooke, who is an LDP alumni. In addition to serving as Scholastics Chair for 2019, Vanessa is currently working in the sheep barn on campus, and is also in Gopher Dairy Club and Block and Bridle Club.

Kaile loved Lambda Delta Phi because of having a group of girls that will be there whenever you need and know you better then you know yourself so knowing exactly what you need. She also works at a Vet Rescue clinic!

Sara Henry

 Sara Henry

Hometown: St. Anthony, MN

Year: Junior

Major: Biology

Sara joined LDP because she was drawn to the girls– their passion, kindness, excitement, and drive. She wanted to have a larger group of people she could trust, lean on, and have fun with. There are so many girls from different backgrounds, and Sara can always have a great time learning more about another one of her sisters. is very busy outside of the chapter as well. On campus, she works as a CBS Peer Advisor and CBS Peer Mentor, where she worked in the Nature of Life program over the summer. Sara also does directed research in the Ecology Department working with Dr. Emilie Snell-Rood researching the effects of different heavy metals on pollinator health and productivity–which is being applied by the MN Dept. of Transportation to devise a prairie restoration project along interstate 35W!

Major: Animal Science and Agricultural Communications and Marketing.

Year: Senior

Taylor joined LDP because she wanted an opportunity to make friends with similar interests as her. She is currently serving LDPhi as our social service co-chair. Taylor plans volunteering opportunities, such as making cards for service members and caroling with other St. Paul chapters.
