On Thursday, April 8, the ladies of Lambda Delta Phi will be hosting our annual Birthday Party fund raiser.  Birthday Party is a fun activity that involves people from all over campus.  Each sister donates a gift basket and we hold a live auction where attendees have the opportunity to bid on the fine items.  The money raised is donated to the Theresa Hoen-Feist Memorial Fund.  Theresa was a member of Lambda Delta Phi who unexpectedly passed away at a young age, leaving young children behind.  The memorial fund will help her young children get through college. 

Keeping up with tradition, the ladies of Lambda Delta Phi have been busy donating their time and services.  Many actives girls volunteered during summer 2009 in a variety of settings.

    On Halloween morning, 2009, the actives paired with men from Sigma Nu and FarmHouse fraterities to help with the Monster Dash half marathon on Lake Harriet.  They ran a water stop for the runners, offering refreshments and a place to rest.  During the 2009 holiday season, many of our ladies choose to volunteer time to bell ringing for the Salvation Army.
